Malaika's CD Page

This, Malaika's debut album was recorded (for the most part) over a weekend with, much love and joy, in three separate and memorable live concerts at The Stone Angel, Ottawa in February, 1996. The Stone Angel, a centre (now closed) which did the work of angels in the community without any government funding (and, indeed, Malaika's birthplace) was the perfect backdrop for this recording both in terms of its symbolism and its warm, spiritual atmosphere.

Here are the 12 tracks on Malaika Live with samples (all in the .wav format) from each. Please enjoy these sounds of angels!
